| Clyde Bentley Associate professor in convergence at the Missouri School of Journalism. Ph.D. from Oregon in 2000. He was the general manager of the East Oregonian in Portland, OR, before seeking his degree. He has also been a daily newspaper managing editor, a weekly editor, a reporter and an advertising manager.

Communication Studies and Journalism, Shippensburg University He has been a Peace Corps teacher i Kyrgyzstan, Web editor for the Getty Museum and Getty Trust in Los Angeles, a technology reporter for the L.A. Business Journal, and arts editor of the Idaho Mountain Express in Ketchum, Idaho.

| Debra Mason A professor at the Missouri School of Journalism, she is also director of the Center for Religion, the Professions and the Public. She has a Ph.D from Ohio University in Athens, a MA in journalism from Northwestern and masters in theological studies from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. She has extensive experience as a religion writer and editor and is the former executive director of the Religion Newswriters Association.
